Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the SC Companion website and the Discord applications known as SC Companion and Peep (collectively, the Services). SC Companion is the public-install Discord bot. Peep supports the project's home community, website sign-in, inventory identity, feedback, support tickets, and administrative features.
Acceptable use
You may use a Discord bot only in a server where it has been authorized by a server administrator. You agree not to use the Services for spam, abuse, harassment, illegal activity, unauthorized access, interference with other users, or attempts to disrupt Discord, the Services, or third-party systems.
Accounts and server administration
Website features may require Discord sign-in. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Server owners and administrators are responsible for selecting appropriate bot permissions, configuring available features, and ensuring that their server's use complies with applicable rules and laws.
User content
You remain responsible for information you submit through inventory, feedback, support, trade, configuration, and other interactive features. You must have the right to submit that information and must not use the Services to distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.
Information and third-party services
The Services may retrieve information from public game resources, Discord, or other websites and APIs. Results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and are provided for convenience. Your use of Discord and other third-party services remains subject to their respective terms and policies.
Availability and changes
The Services are provided as-is and may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. No guarantee is made that any feature will remain available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Termination
Access may be restricted or removed when misuse, abuse, a security risk, or a violation of these terms is detected. A server administrator may remove a bot from a server at any time.
Unofficial project notice
This is an unofficial fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by Cloud Imperium Games or Roberts Space Industries. Star Citizen and related marks belong to their respective owners.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date above will identify the latest version. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Contact
For questions or support, contact the project owner through the Discord server where the Services are used or open a request at SC Companion Support.
