Game Assist RSI Hangar Importer Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Game Assist RSI Hangar Importer browser extension used with SC Companion.

Purpose and information handled

After a user starts an import, the extension uses the browser's existing signed-in RSI session to request the user's RSI My Hangar pledge pages. It processes those responses locally and sends only recognized ship and vehicle names to SC Companion.

Information not collected or transmitted

The extension does not ask for, read as a value, store, display, or transmit RSI passwords, session-cookie values, authorization headers, complete RSI page HTML, billing or payment information, addresses, order history, pledge identifiers, buyback contents, CCUs, paints, equipment, weapons, armor, flair, currency, coupons, gift cards, or unrelated browsing history.

The browser may attach an RSI session cookie directly to requests sent to RSI. The extension does not receive or transmit the cookie value.

Use, storage, and sharing

Ship and vehicle names are used only to populate the user's authenticated SC Companion hangar. The extension does not retain RSI page contents. SC Companion stores imported hangar records until the user removes them. Data is not sold, used for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes. Hosting providers may process stored records only as necessary to operate and secure SC Companion.

User choice and security

The extension does not access RSI until the user initiates an import. Users can remove hangar entries, uninstall the extension, or request assistance through the support link below. SC Companion communication uses HTTPS, and the extension restricts website communication to approved SC Companion origins.
